Welcome to Kempsford Pre-School

Thank you for showing an interest in your child joining Kempsford Pre-school.

Children are welcome from 2 years to 4 years old.

When your child starts pre-school a portfolio of their work and achievements (using the Early Years Foundation Stage) will be carried out.  This will be presented to your chosen reception class when they start Primary school.

Kempsford Pre-school first opened its doors in 1972, and has grown in strength ever since.  We now have a purpose built building on the site of Kempsford Primary school - where we continue to have close ties with the school.  This enables your child to fully familiarise themselves with the school and teachers before entering the reception class.

Our Pre-school is OFSTED registered.  This means we must comply with the Government's Early Years Foundation Stages.
Our latest OFSTED is "Good" - September 2009.

Kempsford Pre-school is also a body in membership to PATA (Playgroup and Toddler Association).  PATA is an organisation which aims to assist in the enhancement of the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.  Kempsford Pre-school conforms to the PATA Constitution.

Further information such as insurance details and inspection details and inspection reports and held on the pre-school's notice board.  For your information, Employers' Liability Insurance cover is £10m for any one event.  The notice board will also be used to remind you of all forthcoming committee meetings, fund-raising activities and other local events, so please read in regularly.  The group's "Policy Rules and Procedures" document is also readily available.
